What is a contract versus a warranty repair?
Contract Repair Guidelines
Contract Repairs consist of the following:
- Any purchase of a Ryzex Extended Service or contract plan for an existing install base of ADC equipment.
- Equipment included in the existing install base can be equipment purchased from multiple vendors.
If you have purchased Ryzex Repair services for your ADC equipment, please refer to your extended service and/or contract documentation previously received from Ryzex.
If you no longer have access to this documentation, please contact your account manager for instructions on sending your equipment in for repair.
Warranty Repair Guidelines
Warranty Repairs consist of the following:
- New equipment purchased from Ryzex that still falls within the original equipment manufacturer’s (OEM) warranty period.
- Refurbished equipment purchased from Ryzex that falls within 90 days from shipment date of the product.
Ryzex issues RMA numbers to customers with equipment that is purchased directly from Ryzex within the guidelines as specified below. For a request for any warranty repair service, please contact the Customer Support department for assistance.
