7) I am having coverage issues with my current wireless network. Would using higher gain antennas fix my problem? |
| Installing higher gain (or larger antennas) will most likely not resolve the coverage issues. In most cases either the addition of another access point or having the site re-surveyed is the only way to correct the problem. Note: It is not recommended to just start adding access points when there is a coverage problem. A site survey is the only way to determine the proper placement of an additional access point.
8) I am installing a new access point in my facility. What direction should the antenna point? |
| When installing a high gain mast mount style antenna indoors you want to have the antenna point down.
